People usually put passwords on PDF documents to protect data from unauthorized access and to maintain its integrity. Then the people who don’t know the password and want to access that PDF file has a problem accessing it. The PDF passwords are of two types, first is user-locked which means you need a password to open and access that document and another is owner-locked which means you need a password of that document to copy, print or edit that PDF’s content.

If we talk about user-locked passwords, it requires properly purchased software to unlock the document. And an owner-locked password protected PDF document can be unlocked using several ways.

Steps to remove password from PDF without software are as follows:

Step3: Right click on your document and then give a print command, after a “Print” panel tab opens then in the destination of your document just change your default option of your default selected printer to “save as PDF” or “Adobe PDF” option as a destination.

Step4: Then click the “Print” or “Save” button.

Step5: After pressing save option you will be prompted to a new dialog box in this you have to select the location of the document to be saved such as your Desktop. Type the file name and then click “Save” button. The chrome browser ignores the owner password and saves your secured PDF file without any password.
